Gina Rosenblum Adelman

Having transferred from UCLA in 1969, I lived in Santa Barbara for 20 years and was married to Michel Lestrade, a well known local artist through my 20's. I then was involved in retail sales as a local merchant until 1985. I returned to Los Angeles and attended graduate school at USC, received my Masters in Clinical Social Work with an emphasis on child therapy in 1988. I worked for the Los Angeles Unifed School District for 20 years, as a Spanish speaking therapist, graduate field supervisor and provided supportive services to teachers, administration and parents,as well as being in Private Practice.

I currently work as a consultant for Juvenile Court Mental
Health Sevices located at Edelman Chimdren's Court and write mental health recommendations for both Delinquincy and Dependency Court judges.

I been involved in real estate since the 80´s and manage my small piece of the rock.

I've travelled the world including trips to Europe, Asia and Central and South America and an amazing trek to Tibet. My# 1 bucket list item was realized when I went on safari to Tanzania, up close and personal, living among the vast variety of wild animals and seeing the gathering of the wildebeests and zebras for the great migration by prop plane

I love to cook ethnic foods,love the arts, movies and live theatre , love to read, entertain and be entertained.

I have great memories of hanging on the lawn at lunchtime. Remember the basketball games in the swim gym, playing tennis and running track. Talking on the phone to my friends and plays in the auditorium.

Don't we all remember off color remarks by Dr Herbst?! I do.
