Bill was always a generous and positive individual.  He had a great capacity for empathy, and cared deeply for his friends and family.  The last time I had been with him, he wanted to form a band with me and another individual and call It "Other Lives"…But our "other lives" got in the way.

Bill, we have been out of touch, but you will never be forgotten.

The first time I met Billy was September of 1954 when we entered kindergarten together. In all the years from then on, I always remember his great smile, super laugh and most of all, his friendliness. A wonderful person and an even better human being. Billy..... you will always be in our hearts. You were a true prince.

Bill and I got close again a some years ago....His kindness, and caring about those he knew and loved was endless.  He'd come to my pool and swim with me, which eased his severe back pain....smoke a "j" and we'd talk and laugh.  Over the last years of his life he became close to his Judiasm.  He found a community which embrassed him. A loving family. His love of the Torah, and its teachings...going to services...going to Shabbat/Pesach/holiday dinners with his friends from the group was his greatest joy. I miss you dear Friend....I'm sorry you are gone way too soon.  You are no longer suffering...a blessing for sure...but you are missed by your classmates and friends.  No one like you Bill...no one. Rest in Peace... dear, dear Dr. Bill.
