Hilary was my best friend in high school, and my date to the senior prom. She was there, cheering us along, when Rhythm and Green recorded our 1st song written by Keith Kreger. We were were there for each other during difficult times, and as things often go, we lost touch with each other. Even with time and distance, I know we remained in each other's hearts. Life was not easy for her with what what she was given, but Hilary overcame her difficulties to become such a beautiful soul. It was impossible to find anyone who didn't love her.
I met Hilary when I transferred to Beverly Vista in third grade. Although we were not close friends we were friendly. I remember a brave, spunky, kind little girl who faced her life with courage and dignity. Rest In Peace Hilary.
I remember Hilary as well. Me and Louis Weisberg would always hang out with her. I belive she lived on Crescent in one of the nice apartments. She loved our band, The Ryhthm and Green.
Hillary and I met in the 7th grade at Beverly Vista in gym class. She was one of the first friends that most of our conversaton consisted of boys. We went to camp Akela between 7th and 8th grade. Nothing stopped HIllary. She had a very strong spirit.

Hilary Berman was in a lot of girls' sports activities in Beverly Vista and she was a really
great volleyball enthusiast. She never complained; she just gave it her all. I was very
impressed then and I am still. She had a good sense of humor, she was a reliable sports
partner and I've thought about her over the years, wishing her all the best. I'm very sorry
she is gone. Spunky? Absolutely! An all-around nice girl, from B.V. to B.H.H.S.? YES.
Rest in peace, Hilary. You are missed.
