One of the sweetest and genuine guys I have ever met. Was always a good friend in elementary school and our friendship carried into high school!! I really miss him!!!
To say that Arthur was a sweet guy is an understatement..One of the most sensetative guys you'd ever meet...Always smiling and ready to make you laugh..We belonged to the same temple and went to Sunday school together...In our final year I was one of the oldest and used to drive him there.....They had just built this new building out on Sepulveda..Rod Cooper and I would race on Sepulveda next to the freeway...It would drive Arthur nuts...We used to sneek out to the parking lot to smoke cigaretes on our break..Arthur would always be the look out...Not that we needed one...He was just so paranoid of getting caught....Last time I saw him was at the 20th reunion. I lived up in San Francisco at the time and probably hadn't seen him since the 10 year reunion..He walked up and hugged me and said"I'm glad I got to see you one more time" I had no idea what he was talking about...He knew he was dying...My mother ran into him right before he died..I figured that I'd se him next time I was in L.A....and suddenly...he was gone..I started to think...like the grafetti on the wall under the freeway overpass says "Life's short...So you gotta play hard"..
Arthur was one of the sweetest people. So kind...so present. I think I took him to my confirmation dance...I took him somewhere...possibly to the Ambassador Hotel...I could be wrong. He loved to sing...His mom was a teacher at Hawthorne...Or am I wrong...lol. I just remember him...and am sorry he's gone.
Arthur was a wonderful guy, one of the ones who was friendly and warm to me when I came to Horace Mann as a newbie in seventh grade. We weren't close friends, but I really liked him and just thought he would always be there, the way we do when we're that age.

Arthur Robbins was a friendly, kind person. I did not know him well, but in my few encounters with
him, he was always pleasant, always took a moment to connect. I hope his family and friends
are well and I hope that somehow, if it's ever possible, that Arthur's soul or spirit knows that we
all appreciated him in our world.
