Neil passed away in March of 2016. A devastating loss for his close friends. We grew up together starting in Kindergarten or second grade when I met him at Beverly Vista We became best friends for life. Neil was caring, witty and always went out of his way to help you. We played golf and basketball in high school and loved getting together with our tight knit group and go to the movies or local deli. El Coyote restaurant on Beverly Blvd was our favorite after college. The "Guys" got together today for lunch and reminisced about our good friend. Boy, "you don't know what you got until you lose it." I understand that now more than ever.
At the time I met Neil Rapp at Beverly, I didn't know that his father produced one of my favorite TV shows of all time, Topper. In the show, the St. Bernard dog, Neil, was named after Neil Rapp. I also went to El Coyote with Neil and one of his best friends from Beverly, Dave Brod.
