I loved Peter Gardiner. We walked home from Hawthorne and I'd go to his house after school. His shoe laces were always untied...A funny thing to remember eh? His mother was so beautiful...and his father was so debonaire...so very English. Both our fathers performed in the PTA shows at Hawthorne. RIP Peter...
